Carlos Alberto Pavón Plummer, known as Carlos Pavón, is a retired Honduran professional footballer who played as a forward. He was born on October 9, 1973, in El Progreso, Honduras.
Pavón is considered one of the greatest Honduran footballers of all time, having represented the national team in numerous international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup and the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He is the all-time leading goal scorer for the Honduran national team.
Throughout his club career, Pavón played for several teams in Honduras, Mexico, and the United States, including Club Deportivo Olimpia, Club Necaxa, Real España, and the Los Angeles Galaxy. He was known for his goal-scoring ability, physical presence on the field, and leadership qualities.
